The clamps have some nice rubber padding on them to stop them from feeling sharp when they are been used, this padding is very effective and keeps them comfortable even when they are on the tightest that they can possibly be.
These are beginners clamps and as you can imagine this means that they are not the strongest clamp that you can buy, they are even adjustable to allow you to have them really loose if you want, then you don’t have to have any of the pain of wearing nipple clamps but you can still have the look. If you are not into pain but you want the look then these are perfect for you. It should go without saying however that if you have them on loose that you cannot pull the chains as they will just come off, they still look good though.
To adjust the clamps all you need to do is to tighten and loosen the screw that goes into the top of the clamp; this screw stops the clamp from been able to close fully.
The chain between the clamps is pretty lightweight, it’s not going to add any noticeable weight to the clamps and it doesn’t make it feel like it is pulling you in any way when they are been worn, when the clamps are positioned correctly and tightened sufficiently you can pull on the chain when they are been worn, this looks and feels particularly nice.
As with all clamps it is good to remember that although they might be comfortable to wear when they are on nice and tight and look fantastic the ‘pain’ is often more when you take them off. This is something that my husband felt first hand after he thought it would be a good idea to put them on as a joke and left them for a few minutes, he had them on the tightest fitting.
When you take a clamp off if you are not used to it you should do it slowly and carefully, the initial feeling is normally a sharp sting, followed by a hot sensation as the blood goes back into the nipple that was clamped. Some people love this feeling, my husband doesn’t and I forgot to warn him (evil laugh). This normally only lasts for a few seconds but the longer you have been wearing the clamps the longer the feeling can last.
Overall we both really liked these clamps; they are great for beginners and maybe even more advanced users as the adjustable nature of the clamps means that you can have them as tight or as loose as you want. The chain looks good and is functional to when the clamps are on tight enough to grip properly, it is also light enough to not add any weight or pull to the clamps if you don’t want it and it looks good to.
